Abstract:
The present invention describes aminoalkyl-substituted organopolysiloxane thioureas consisting of units (I) wherein R1 stands for a group R5 stands for an alkylene grouping, R2 equals R1 or H, R3 equals R1 or H or a group (CH2)n-NR2 (III) in which n equals 1 to 6, R6 equals H or an alkyl group with C1 to C5, and R4 equals H or a group of Formula (III), wherein (I) contains at most two groups (II) and at most two groups (III) and the free valences of the oxygen atoms at the silicon atoms are saturated by silicon atoms of additional groups (II), optionally with the incorporation of cross-linking agents that contain Si, Ti, or Zr. The compounds can be statistical copolycondensates, block copolycondensates, or mixed copolycondensates with reference to the optionally present cross-linking agents. In addition, various production processes for the compounds are described. The compounds can be used, in particular, to remove dissolved metals from aqueous or organic phases.
