A cigarette package has a body having front and back panels, and side panels. A back panel extends between the front and back panels. A closure is provided at an upper end, for closing the package. An exterior panel is hingedly attached along one edge, in a plane common with the front panel. The exterior panel can be swung between a closed position, closely abutting the front panel, and an open position, revealing the front panel. The exterior panel is intended to carry any legislative health warnings, and may include a photograph or other artistic work on an inner surface, for collection by a purchaser. An adhesive patch is provided for removably attaching the exterior panel in the closed position.
