The method of automatically controls a driving speed of the vehicle to be a set target vehicle speed by: detecting the driving speed of the vehicle; determining a slope of a driving road; and when the driving road is an inclined road, controlling the driving speed of the vehicle to be the target vehicle speed based on a driving resistance value which reflects an inclination angle of the inclined road.
