The invention discloses a pedestrian cause and effect relation identification method based on a momentum kinetic model. According to a cause and effect concept, the momentum kinetic model is constructed, it is brought forward that a cause and effect value is calculated by use of the pedestrian cause and effect relation identification method based on the momentum kinetic model, three cause and effect relations between video pedestrians are identified according to the scope of the cause and effect value, the defect of incapability of quantitative analysis of the cause and effect relations between targets by use of other cause and effect relation models is overcome, and accurate identification of the cause and effect relations between the pedestrians through intelligent monitoring is realized.
