The invention provides a call fault detection method and system. The call fault detection method is applied to electronic equipment. The electronic equipment communicates with a receiving terminal. The call fault detection method comprises the steps of: obtaining a triggering signal of a call fault detection function; sending pre-set voice to the receiving terminal; obtaining a confirmation signal after the receiving terminal receives the pre-set voice through a receiver; and determining a call fault point according to the confirmation signal. The invention further provides a call fault detection system. By means of the call fault detection method and system provided by the invention, the fault point can be accurately detected; the call efficiency can be increased; and furthermore, the human-computer interaction performance can be improved.
