本发明提供废调色剂输送单元和图像形成装置。本发明的废调色剂输送单元具备：废调色剂输送路，其供从像载持体的周面去除掉的废调色剂被输送；输送部件，其使废调色剂沿废调色剂输送路移动；以及移动抑制部，其在废调色剂的输送过程中抑制该废调色剂的移动。另外，废调色剂输送路具有内底面倾斜的区域，移动抑制部由该区域构成，输送部件被配置为旋转轴沿倾斜的内底面延伸。
