The invention discloses a quick ignition control method for secondary water of a gas water heater. The control method comprises the following steps of controlling a fan to start after detecting a water flow signal; acquiring a first detection time T1 after detecting an air pressure closing signal; controlling an igniter for first time ignition; after successful ignition, controlling the igniter tocombust normally; after a user closes water, controlling a fan to close; in a preset time range, detecting whether a water flow signal is available or not; and if the water flow signal is detected, controlling the igniter for second time ignition according to the first detection time T1. The method can achieve quick ignition and heating, and a condition that too much cold water exists in secondary water of the user is avoided, so that the bathing experience of the user is improved favorably.
