车道偏离防止装置在自动操舵许可条件成立时车道偏离条件成立的情况下，执行自动操舵控制，在警报执行条件成立时没有执行自动操舵控制的情况下，在自动操舵许可条件成立这一可避免偏离条件不成立时，以使警报的等级成为预定警报等级的方式执行警报控制，在警报执行条件成立时没有执行自动操舵控制的情况下，在可避免偏离条件成立时，不执行警报控制或者以使警报的等级成为比预定警报等级低的等级的方式执行警报控制。
