The vehicle brake device includes an input rod configured to move forward and rearward in conjunction with a depression operation of a brake pedal and a pedal bias unit configured to bias the input rod in a direction to which the brake pedal returns when the depression operation position of the brake pedal lies within the invalid depression region. The pedal bias unit includes an elastic body including one end portion attached to the input rod and the other end portion attached to the vehicle body side member to provide a spring force to the input rod in the direction to which the brake pedal returns.
