The upwardly extending seat back assembly comprises a seat back frame and a head rest hood module attached to an upper portion of the seat back frame, the head rest hood module comprising a mount disposed proximate a lower rear edge of the head rest hood module. A decorative seat back rear panel module comprising a first seat back rear perimeter panel and a second seat back rear central panel is operably coupled with the first seat back rear perimeter panel to define a rear exterior surface area of the decorative seat back rear panel module, wherein an upper laterally transverse member of the first seat back rear perimeter panel is attached to the mount disposed on the head rest hood module.
