The display apparatus includes a determining unit configured to determine whether or not the layout of the first page is similar to the layout of the second page by comparing an object included in the first page with an object included in the second page which is different from the first page; and a display unit configured to display the first page on a screen based on a display area having been set by a user, wherein, if the determining unit determines that the layout of the first page is similar to the layout of the second page, the display unit displays the second page on the screen based on the set display area.
