The method includes calculating grayscale degrees of the base-color sub-pixel of the sub-pixels of the current original pixel, selecting a maximum grayscale degree from the grayscale degrees, determining a plurality of weighted factors corresponding to the current sampled pixel of the sampled image in accordance with the maximum grayscale degree, and calculating a weighted sum of grayscale values of the base-color sub-pixels of the current original pixel and the adjacent original pixels by the weighted factors to obtain the grayscale values of the base-color sub-pixels of the current sub-pixel of the current sampled pixel. In this way, the overlapped color issue may be eliminated so as to obtain a clear image.
