The information management apparatus includes an acquisition unit configured to acquire information about current setting from the information devices, a diagnosis unit configured to diagnose setting of the each information device based on the acquired information, a generation unit configured to generate a diagnosis result report containing findings about setting based on a diagnosis result associated with a management area where the information devices are arranged, and an output unit configured to output the diagnosis result report generated by the generation unit.
