Optionally, the chair can also have a reclining and declining backrest and a leg rest, a footrest, or both and also optional storage compartments. The reclining and/or declining systems of the invention cause at least a portion of a vertical or generally vertical support for the plate or frame of the chair seat to tilt with respect to vertical.
