The present invention relates to a device for testing the properties of fiber(s). The fibers may be human hair fibers, for example, a hair tress. The device has a plurality of rods that are capable of freely rotating. Each rod has a proximal end and a distal end. The proximal end is connected to a support. The distal end is free.
