Device-to-device resource pattern signaling
Abstract:
A first communication device 100 is configured for device-to-device (D2D) communications with a second communication device 102. A method by the first communication device 100 includes obtaining 300 information on duplex configuration of a radio network node 110 that may affect resource allocation by the first communication device 100 for D2D communication with the second communication device 102. The method further includes deriving 302 a set of resource patterns (RPTs) based on the information, selecting 304 one RPT among the set of RPTs based on scheduler information, and signaling 306 an index that is used to identify the selected RPT to the second communication device 102. Related methods by a communication device to derive resources to be used for D2D reception from another communication device based on a selected RPT are disclosed.
