In general, the embodiments relate to instruments and associated methods for the surgical treatment of a joint, and particularly to a subchondral bone defect at that joint region. More specifically, the embodiments relate to instruments that allow fast, easy, precise, and controllable subchondral delivery to, or removal of materials from, a bone joint being treated.
