The transmission unit does not transmit a response to the received search request signal, when the communication device executes the specific protocol and the information is not added, or when the communication device does not execute the specific protocol and the information is added, and transmits the response when the communication device executes the specific protocol and the information is added or when the communication device does not execute the specific protocol and the information is not added, based on the determinations made by the first and second determination units.
