Processes for making resins may include mixing at least one polymerizable species with at least one thermoresponsive supramolecular initiator complex involving a host-guest interaction; subjecting the mixture to a temperature above about 30° C. thereby promoting the dissociation of the at least one thermoresponsive supramolecular initiator; and allowing the mixture to cure at the temperature for a period of time.
