The method may include at least the following: sending a request for controlling the controlled device to a server, where the request instructs the server to request a first control terminal to transfer control of the controlled device to the mobile terminal; receiving a notification, sent by the server, of agreeing to control the controlled device, wherein the notification is sent after the server determines that the first control terminal agrees to transfer control; and communicating with the controlled device to control the controlled device.
