The present invention relates to a cap assembly 10 configured to be connectable to a suitable medicament delivery device having a distal and a proximal end. The cap assembly 10 according to the present invention comprises a removable outer 12 cap and a removable inner 16 cap movably connected in relation to each other. Further, said cap assembly is configured to allow said removable outer cap and said removable inner cap to be fixedly connectable to each other such that the removable outer cap is prevented of being movable with respect to the removable inner cap only when the medicament delivery device is held in a substantially vertical position such that both said removable outer cap and said removable inner cap can be removed from the cap assembly.
