An exemplary embodiment of the present invention sets forth a system, method and computer program product for creating and managing online personal fundraising campaigns. In an exemplary embodiment, the method may include, e.g., but not limited to, receiving a request to establish a personal fundraising campaign from an initiator for benefit of a beneficiary at a central controller; receiving a plurality of donations at the controller; and disbursing at least a portion of the funds to the beneficiary.
