The electronic device includes a display configured to display a plurality of images on a screen and a processor configured to detect a number of objects included in each of the plurality of images, determine a scaling factor for each of the plurality of images based on the detected number of objects, resize one or more images among the plurality of images based on the determined scaling factor for each of the plurality of images, and control at least one of a layout and a display order of the plurality of images based on the resized images and control the display to display the plurality of images.
