The chain saw has a longitudinal rotation axis (X1). It is characterized in that a point (60) in which a center axis (A2) of an upper portion (31) of the front handle (30) intersects a vertical plane (P) comprising the longitudinal rotation axis (X1) of the chain saw, is positioned rearwardly of a point (70) in which the motor rotation axis (A1) intersects said vertical plane (P).
