Based on the fact that a static layers in the terminal such as the OSD display layer and third-party application are managed as a whole by the terminal layer management module, this embodiment sets forth that: a current topmost layer is determined according to number information of each layer in a terminal layer management module; then a pixel value of a preset region in the topmost layer is obtained; analysis is performed on the pixel value in the preset region, and it is determined whether the pixel value of the preset region is different from a target pixel value. If the pixel value of the preset region is different from the target pixel value, then it is determined that there is image content in the topmost layer.
