The method may comprise receiving a request for a first video from a video-playing device that is coupled to a network, determining whether to include a second video, generating a playlist comprising the first video and the second video, and transmitting the playlist to the Internet video-playing device. The second video may comprise a video advertisement. Additionally, a system for delivering video content is described. The system may include a processor, storage, an operating system, a logging module, one or more network interfaces capable of communicating with a plurality of video advertising networks, and a scripting engine.
