The data center includes at least one device driven by the electric power, a storage battery for storing the electric power, and a controller for switching the operating mode of the device over the course of time on the basis of predicted values for the amount of electric power generated using renewable energy, the amount of electric power stored in the storage battery, and the amount of electric power consumed by the device.
