The acoustically treated components include a structural fitting having a first surface and a second surface, wherein the first surface defines a flow path and includes a plurality of perforations passing through the structural fitting from the first surface to the second surface, at least one non-structural acoustic treatment member installed on the second surface, a first end of the at least one non-structural acoustic treatment member attached to the second surface such that a cellular structure of the at least one non-structural acoustic treatment member aligns with the plurality of perforations, and a cover attached on a second end of the at least one non-structural acoustic treatment member such that an acoustic chamber is defined between the cover and the cellular structure and open to the flow path.
