Polymer composition comprising poly-lactide-polybutadiene based block copolymer
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a composition comprising: (a) at least one first polymer selected from the group consisting of poly-L-lactide-polybutadiene (PLLA-PB) block copolymer, poly-D-lactide-polybutadiene (PDLA-PB) block copolymer, poly-L-lactide-urethane-polybutadiene block copolymer, and poly-D-lactide-urethane-polybutadiene block copolymer; and (b) at least one second polymer selected from the group consisting of poly-L-lactide, poly-L-lactide-polybutadiene (PLLA-PB) block copolymer, poly-L-lactide-urethane-polybutadiene block copolymer, poly-L-lactide-urethane, poly-D-lactide, poly-D-lactide-polybutadiene (PDLA-PB) block copolymer, poly-D-lactide-urethane-polybutadiene block copolymer, poly-D-lactide-urethane, and mixture thereof, wherein when the at least one first polymer is poly-L-lactide-polybutadiene (PLLA-PB) block copolymer, or poly-L-lactide-urethane-polybutadiene block copolymer, then the at least one second polymer is selected from the group consisting of poly-D-lactide, or poly-D-lactide-polybutadiene (PDLA-PB) block copolymer, poly-D-lactide-urethane-polybutadiene block copolymer, poly-D-lactide-urethane, and mixture thereof, or wherein when the at least one first polymer is poly-D-lactide-polybutadiene block copolymer, or poly-D-lactide-urethane-polybutadiene block copolymer, then the at least one second polymer is selected from the group consisting of poly-L-lactide, or poly-L-lactide-polybutadiene block copolymer, poly-L-lactide-urethane-polybutadiene block copolymer, poly-L-lactide-urethane, and mixture thereof; wherein said composition comprises from 40% to 99% by weight of said second polymer based on the total weight of the composition. The present invention also relates to a process for preparing said composition. The present invention also relates to an article comprising said composition.
