More specifically, the present invention presents methods and apparatus for controlling the immersive experience through player configurations for viewing image data captured in two dimensional or three dimensional data formats and from multiple disparate points of capture based on venue specific characteristics, wherein the viewing experience may emulate observance of an event from at least two of the multiple points of capture in specifically chosen locations of a particular venue.
