A computerized system for selecting a cargo carrier includes a host computer system having access to a computer system and data of a cargo carrier. The host computer system is dynamic in that it is real time with that of the carrier data. The host computer system is accessed by a user via an internet connection. The host computer system is designed and programmed to receive information from the user concerning cargo to be transported. The host computer system processes the information provided by the user with information collected from other sources to send information to a user of possible cargo transportation options.
