The method may include: acquiring an image to be displayed; determining a distance between a display device and a user; comparing the determined distance with a plurality of optimum watching distances respectively, wherein the optimum watching distances are acceptable shortest distances corresponding to different resolutions for the display device when the user watches images displayed on the display device in a full vision under a vision limit; and processing the acquired image for displaying, according to a result of the comparing.
