A social networking server for facilitating social information exchange among the plurality of devices through a socially aware network. A social profiles manager is coupled to the social networking server that creates and manages individual centric profiles of the plurality of devices. The individual centric profiles of the plurality of devices are social representation of individual devices within the socially aware network. The plurality of devices are identifiable by other participants and the social networking server through their social profiles.
