Upon accepting an operator operation, the information processing apparatus accepts the identification information, connects to the image forming apparatus using the accepted identification information, and activates a remote support client application. Even upon reception of press information of a specific key from the information processing apparatus, the image forming apparatus can display the remote support screen in preference to the display of the operation screen.
