A first control channel of the first cell carries downlink scheduling information via a downlink data channel of the first cell. A second control channel of the second cell carries uplink scheduling information via an uplink data channel of the first cell. The first and second deactivation timers restart in response to receiving a first DCI for uplink transmission on the first cell. The first deactivation timer and not the second deactivation timer restart in response to receiving a second DCI for downlink transmission on the first cell received. The first cell deactivates in response to the first deactivation timer expiring. The second cell deactivate in response to the second deactivation timer expiring.
