The circuit includes: a pull-up control module; a pull-up module; a pull-down module, used to pull down level of an output terminal of the pull-up control module and level of a scanning signal of a current-stage gate driving circuit, under the control of a clock signal of a second-succeeding-stage gate driving circuit; and a pull-down maintaining module, used to maintain level of the output terminal of the pull-up control module and level of the scanning signal of the current-stage gate driving circuit both at a predetermined low level, under the control of the level of the output terminal of the pull-up control module and an external signal.
