Briefly, a cable assembly may comprise a cable body and a plurality of segments defined via one or more stoppers fixedly disposed on the cable body. The cable assembly may be routed through inner and outer sections of the telescoping assembly and may be retained via cable support members arranged within the sections such that a particular predetermined segment of the plurality of segments is bendable during telescoping movements, such as in a controlled manner.
