The curved display apparatus with transistors of respective pixels arranged in a matrix form on a bendable display screen comprises a gate drive circuit to sequentially provide a gate signal for simultaneously turning on each of a plurality of transistors aligned in the column direction of the matrix to a plurality of gate lines and a source drive circuit to provide a pixel data signal to each of a plurality of source lines, the each pixel data signal representing a gradation of a pixel for each of a plurality of transistors aligned in the row direction of the matrix. The source drive circuit is provided on a first bendable edge of the display screen, the first bendable edge having a first curvature, and the gate drive circuit is provided on a second bendable edge of the display screen, the second bendable edge having a second curvature larger than the first curvature.
