The proximal part includes a medicament container holder accommodating the medicament container, and the distal part includes the dose delivery mechanism. A plunger rod positioning member is engageable with a proximal end of the plunger rod and with a proximal area of the distal part for positioning the plunger rod in a longitudinal direction in relation to the proximal area.
