A commercial package assembly that is usable with at least one battery for charging an electronic device includes a first package member and a control assembly. The first package member is configured to form at least a portion of a battery chamber for receiving and retaining the at least one battery. The control assembly is coupled to the first package member. Additionally, the control assembly is configured to selectively transmit energy from the at least one battery to the electronic device to charge the electronic device while the at least one battery is positioned within the battery chamber. A charging assembly includes the commercial package assembly, and at least one battery that is retained within the battery chamber.
