An image display method applicable a multi-domain display device includes: obtaining grayscales of respective pixels in one frame of input image; determining grayscales of the respective pixels in two adjacent frames of output image according to the grayscales of the respective pixels in the frame of input image, wherein the grayscale of any pixel in one of the two adjacent frames of output image is higher than the grayscale of the pixel in the input image, and the grayscale of the pixel in the other frame is lower than the grayscale of the pixel in the input image; and displaying the two adjacent frames of output image.
