This antenna is characterized by being provided with: a printed wiring board; an antenna circuit which is disposed in a predetermined end portion of the printed wiring board and sends and receives radio waves of wavelength λ; and a series resonance circuit disposed at a position in the predetermined end portion of the printed wiring board, the position being separated from the antenna circuit by a distance depending on the wavelength λ. The antenna is also characterized by being arranged such that the extending direction of the predetermined end portion is perpendicular to the direction of radio wave reception.
