Abstract:
A system to stimulate tree sap self-ejection from a tree through a plurality of spouts by heating or chilling a portion of a tree trunk. The system can include a metal liner and at least one flexible tube wrapped around the metal liner containing a freeze resistant fluid, a shell encapsulates the flexible tube and metal liner around the tree. At least one fluid pump, heat exchanger and controller form the sap self-ejection system which can include one or more sources to heat or chill freeze resistant fluid, creating a system for more efficient sap collection and processing.
