The electromagnetic shielding composition in accordance with the broad aspects of the present invention includes from about 40% to 60% by volume of a sheet molding composition filled with an effective amount of carbon fibers for shielding of electromagnetic radiation from the electrical systems in an at least partially electrically driven vehicle.
