The carrier element includes an integrated, elastically deformable accommodation web to which the piston rod can be fixed. Furthermore, the carrier element has, at its side opposite the accommodation web, two elastically deformable fixing elements which are arranged spaced from each other,With the present invention, a damper assembly is being developed which can be installed safely and exchangeably into a cup hinge with a small force application and also a cup hinge with such a damper assembly.
