The disclosure discloses a Machine to Machine (M2M) node deletion and registration method and an M2M node. The deleting method includes: a receiving step: receiving a node deleting request for a first M2M node; and a responding step: in response to the node deleting request, deleting a node resource of the first M2M node, and reserving a physical resource corresponding to the first M2M node, the physical resource including at least one of an Application Entity (AE) resource and a Common Service Entity (CSE) resource.
