The control unit turns on predetermined ones of the plurality of light emitting elements in a predetermined one of the plurality of main frames such that a difference between a gradation value of one or more of the plurality of sub-frames having a maximum gradation value and a gradation value of one or more of the plurality of sub-frames having a minimum gradation value is at least 2.
