Abstract:
An injection device for use with a cartridge containing an injectate includes a housing. The housing includes an end wall at its distal end and an inner wall. The inner wall extends in a direction from the proximal end of the housing to the distal end of the housing and separates a first chamber from a second chamber in the housing. The housing includes a first opening disposed in the end wall and is in fluid communication with the first chamber. The housing includes a second opening is in fluid communication with the second chamber. A coupler is disposed in the first chamber for coupling to the cartridge. The first opening and the second opening are in fluid communication via a channel for transfer of fluid between the first chamber and the second chamber.
