In some implementations, a sensor device performs operations including detecting an activity in the living space, determining contextual routine information, determining user care protocol information, and determining an occurrence of an adverse health event. In response to the occurrence of the adverse health event, the sensor device performs operations including one or more of sending a notification to one or more destinations based on the adverse health event and activating one or more surveillance devices based on the adverse health event.
