The design method comprises identifying a damage area, presenting a virtual 3D view of said identified damage area, creating a 3D virtual implant comprising virtually placing in said 3D view a shape, wherein the area of the shape covers or partly covers said identified damage area, producing an implant based on said created 3D virtual implant.
